Violet bio

Violet was born the middle of three sisters in a small town in rural Kansas. A simple girl in a simple life, she was never pegged for anything beyond life in her small town as a meek librarian or schoolteacher. Her sisters always stole the limelight: her older sister, Rose, becoming a brilliant scientist; and her younger sister, Marigold, a galactically famous artist. But Violet refused to be passed by. She applied for Starfleet Academy, but did not attend. Instead, she accepted an internship with a friend of the family's who had been elected to the Federation President's board of advisors. Here she found her calling as an executive aid.

After serving three years with the family friend, Violet moved on to serve as personal aid to the Terran Ambassador to Betazed. Here she made several friends and became quite accustomed to the unorthodox and sometimes wild ways of the telepathic Betazoids, even though they pretty much mirrored her own personality. When the position as Governor's aid on the new colony of New Edinburgh opened up, she jumped at the chance and became highly recommended. Now she serves the newly-elected Trysta Styraan as she served the governor before.

Violet is young and ambitious though in her own quiet, mousy way. She is efficient and thorough, sometimes knowing what is needed of her before it's even asked. She is a sort of 'Radar O'Reilly' in that respect. Violet is a secret romanticist, often spending her off time devouring sappy romance novels. She longs for a Prince Charming to come and sweep her off her feet, .... but she's so shy around young men that she would be afraid to speak to him! She has no trouble with older men, as they are more like the people she works with. This may also be a reason she prefers older men. Violet has a cat named Seymour. He is black and white and intelligent, though very obnoxious.
