Background: 

As a young child Nadia was part of her older brother's resistance cell.  Her small size made her perfectfor the hit and run missions that she was assigned to. Her small frame was perfect for entering vents, maintence  tubes,and other small hatches.  She was a great thief...  stealing most of the weapons for her resistance cell...   and setting many bombs in Cardassian Installations.  After the Cardassian occupation Nadia became a sheriff for her province.  She went to College on Earth and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement and Psychology.

She joined the Federation reserves to help pay for college. At the age of 26... when she moved to New Edinburgh as the Head of the Para'si Province Police Dept.
