Background:

Ron Patterson was born on the remote colony world Gergiolplex VI. His
parents were geologists studying the world and hence they decided to
reside there.  Spending most of his childhood isolated and ignorant, he
became somewhat dimwitted, though his parents made sure that he would
participate in holo-ed programs. Ron was also without the abundance of
technology that most worlds had at the time. Only a holographic emiter
was installed at the Patterson home. Ron lived with his parents until he
was thirty four years old, when he decided to make a life for himself.
He moved to the closest colony world in the sector, which housed the
famous New Edinburgh. After being unemployed for quite a bit of time and
shifting between quite a lot of jobs Ron finally found something. He was
accepted ( due to lack of workers ) as a reporter for "The New Edinburgh
Informer". Ron eagerly awaits his new assignments.

Personality:
There is an undeniably foolish sense of niavité about Patterson. He is
very childish though has a warm sense of caring about him. Often he is
clumsy and clown-like though he means the best.
